Smart Energy Data: Ireland Electric Vehicles

This data set provides charging and connection state profiles for five electric vehicles in Ireland. All vehicles are of the same brand and type, have a battery capacity of 24 kWh, a minimal range of 120 km and a maximal range of 160 km. The vehicles could be charged at/connected to five different chargers which are all of the same type. All chargers offer two different charging modes: single phase 16A/ 3.52W or single phase 8A/ 1.76W. The data was collected in the EU FINESCE project at trial site Ireland. FINESCE (Future INtErnet Smart Utility ServiCEs) is the smart energy use case project of the 2nd phase of Future Internet Public Private Partnership Programme (FI-PPP) funded by the European Union within FP7. From 2013 to 2015, FINESCE contributes to the development of an open IT-infrastructure to be used to develop and offer new app-based solutions in all fields of the Future Internet related to the energy sector. The project organizes and runs a series of field trials at trial sites in 7 European countries.
